THURSDAY JUNE 25
Parramatta Eels vs. South Sydney Rabbitohs @ CommBank Stadium, 7.50pm
Eels team: 1. Isaiah Iongi 2. Brian Kelly 3. Jordan Samrani 4. Sean Russell 5. Josh Addo-Carr 6. Ronald Volkman 7. Mitchell Moses 8. Luca Moretti 9. Tallyn Da Silva 10. Jack Williams 11. Kelma Tuilagi 12. Kitione Kautoga 13. Jack de Belin 14. Dylan Walker 15. Sam Tuivaiti 16. Teancum Brown 17. Harrison Edwards 18. Joash Papali’i 19. Charlie Guymer 20. Apa Twidle 21. Ryley Smith 22. Saxon Pryke
Analysis: Eels captain Mitchell Moses will make his return to the side following NSW Blues duties and slot into the No.7 jersey which shifts Ronald Volkman to five-eighth and Joash Papalii to the interchange bench. The rest of the team remains the same from last week with Ryley Smith still listed among the reserves. In other injury news around the club, the Eels confirmed that both Jake Tago and Jonah Pezet will return to the field via the NSW Cup this weekend.
Rabbitohs team: 1. Jye Gray 2. Alex Johnston 3. Latrell Siegwalt 4. Tallis Duncan 5. Edward Kosi 6. Cody Walker 7. Ashton Ward 8. Tevita Tatola 9. Brandon Smith 10. Keaon Koloamatangi 11. David Fifita 12. Euan Aitken 13. Cameron Murray 14. Lachlan Hubner 15. Jamie Humphreys 16. Liam Le Blanc 17. John Radel 18. Jayden Sullivan 19. Dayne Jennings 20. Moala Graham-Taufa 21. Bronson Garlick 22. Thomas Fletcher
Analysis: The Rabbitohs are without Latrell Mitchell, who suffered a grade two calf strain at training and will miss four weeks. “Rabbitohs centre Latrell Mitchell has sustained a grade two calf strain, related to his previous back injury. Mitchell is expected to be sidelined for approximately four weeks,” a club statement read. In better news, Cameron Murray returns to the side following Origin duties. His inclusion sees Lachlan Hubner revert back to the interchange bench alongside debutant John Radel and Under-19s NSW Blues representative Dayne Jennings. No other changes have been made.

FRIDAY JUNE 26
Gold Coast Titans vs. Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs @ Cbus Super Stadium, 6pm
Titans team: 1. Keano Kini 2. Jaylan De Groot 3. Jojo Fifita 4. AJ Brimson 5. Phillip Sami 6. Jayden Campbell 7. Zane Harrison 8. Moeaki Fotuaika 9. Oliver Pascoe 10. Tino Fa’asuamaleaui 11. Arama Hau 12. Beau Fermor 13. Chris Randall 14. Kurtis Morrin 15. Josh Patston 16. Klese Haas 17. Jett Liu 18. Sam Verrills 19. Lachlan Ilias 20. Dean Ieremia 21. Adam Christensen 22. Michael Molo
Analysis: The loss of Cooper Bai (head knock) will see Chris Randall (concussion) return to the starting forward pack alongside co-captain Tino Fa’asuamaleaui who returns from Origin duties after being rested last week. Jensen Taumoepeau has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to his nasty ankle injury. This allows Jaylan De Groot to return to the side after spending several weeks listed among the reserves.
Bulldogs team: 1. Connor Tracey 2. Jacob Kiraz 3. Matt Burton 4. Enari Tuala 5. Jethro Rinakama 6. Stephen Crichton 7. Lachlan Galvin 8. Max King 9. Bailey Hayward 10. Leo Thompson 11. Josh Curran 12. Jaeman Salmon 13. Harry Hayes 14. Kurt Mann 15. Lipoi Hopoi 16. Jack Underhill 17. Alekolasimi Jones 19. Bronson Xerri 20. Sean O’Sullivan 21. Jacob Preston 22. Logan Spinks 23. Jed Reardon
Analysis: Cameron Ciraldo has opted to stick with Stephen Crichton in the halves, with the club’s skipper wearing the No.6 jersey and Matt Burton making his way into the centres. It makes sense that the Bulldogs would stick with a winning formula, but Panthers legend Greg Alexander isn’t convinced it will work. “He didn’t look comfortable on the weekend and Burton got a lot of ball when he looked for it himself,” Alexander said on ‘NRL 360’. “Burton mainly took the ball off dummy-half. There weren’t many times when the ball went to the left side and Crichton threw a ball to Burton in space… it will be a work in progress but do they have time for a work in progress? Whether he can transform himself into a better value six than Matt Burton, you only have to go back to the game against Melbourne. Burton was their best player comfortably, he won them the game… I don’t know whether Stephen Crichton playing five-eighth inside of Matt Burton makes them a better team.” Josh Curran is listed to start in the back row as the replacement for Sitili Tupouniua (hamstring), but the Bulldogs may decide to make a late change with Jacob Preston listed among the reserves after last playing in Round 12 against the Storm. He has spent the past month on the sidelines with an arm injury.
Brisbane Broncos vs. Sydney Roosters @ Suncorp Stadium, 8pm
Broncos team: 1. Reece Walsh 2. Josiah Karapani 3. Kotoni Staggs 4. Grant Anderson 5. Jesse Arthars 6. Thomas Duffy 7. Ben Hunt 8. Preston Riki 9. Cory Paix 10. Payne Haas 11. Brendan Piakura 12. Jordan Riki 13. Xavier Willison 14. Blake Mozer 15. Ben Talty 16. Aublix Tawha 17. Jack Gosiewski 18. Hayze Perham 19. Josh Rogers 20. Jaiyden Hunt 21. Kane Bradley 22. Va’a Semu
Analysis: State of Origin trio Kotoni Staggs, Payne Haas and Reece Walsh will all make their returns to the side in a massive boost for the Broncos in what is arguably a must-win match if they are to keep their finals hopes alive. However, they will be without the halves pairing of Ezr Mam (shoulder) and Adam Reynolds (calf). Their absence will see Thomas Duffy and Ben Hunt line-up in the halves, while Blake Mozer is the new face on the pine.
Roosters team: 1. James Tedesco 2. Billy Smith 3. Hugo Savala 4. Robert Toia 5. Mark Nawaqanitawase 6. Daly Cherry-Evans 7. Sam Walker 8. Naufahu Whyte 9. Reece Robson 10. Lindsay Collins 11. Nat Butcher 12. Siua Wong 13. Victor Radley 14. Connor Watson 15. Spencer Leniu 16. Egan Butcher 17. Salesi Foketi 18. Rex Bassingthwaighte 19. Tommy Talau 20. Benaiah Ioelu 21. Toby Rodwell 22. Taylor Losalu
Analysis: The Sydney Roosters have only made one change with Hugo Savala (concussion) returning to the centres after missing last week’s match. His inclusion sees Billy Smith shifted to the wing and Tommy Talau pushed to the 19-man interchange bench with Toby Rodwell dropping out. Meanwhile, back-rower Angus Crichton may miss the remainder of the season with injury.

SATURDAY JUNE 27
Dolphins vs. Warriors @ Suncorp Stadium, 3pm
Dolphins team: 1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 2. Jamayne Isaako 3. Jack Bostock 4. Herbie Farnworth 5. Selwyn Cobbo 6. Kodi Nikorima 7. Isaiya Katoa 8. Thomas Flegler 9. Jeremy Marshall-King 10. Francis Molo 11. Connelly Lemuelu 12. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki 13. Morgan Knowles 14. Max Plath 15. Kurt Donoghoe 16. Ray Stone 17. Felise Kaufusi 18. Brad Schneider 19. Oryn Keeley 20. Tevita Naufahu 21. Brian Pouniu 22. Trai Fuller
Analysis: The Dolphins will be boosted by the inclusion of Isaiya Katoa who returns to the halves after missing last week due to a minor knee injury. Meanwhile, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, Max Plath, Thomas Flegler and Selwyn Cobbo are all back on deck after Origin duties for the QLD Maroons. These four players — bar Plath — will start with Felise Kaufusi and Oryn Keeley dropping to the bench and Tom Gilbert and Trai Fuller exiting the squad.
Warriors team: 1. Taine Tuaupiki 2. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak 3. Ali Leiataua 4. Adam Pompey 5. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad 6. Chanel Harris-Tavita 7. Te Maire Martin 8. Tanner Stowers-Smith 9. Wayde Egan 10. Mitchell Barnett 11. Jacob Laban 12. Kurt Capewell 13. Erin Clark 14. Samuel Healey 15. Eddie Ieremia-Toeava 16. Demitric Vaimauga 17. Marata Niukore 18. Kayliss Fatialofa 20. Luke Metcalf 21. Makaia Tafua 22. Jye Linnane 23. Jason Seu Salalilo
Analysis: One of the Dally M favourites, Jackson Ford (pectoral) has been ruled out and is set to spend at least ten weeks on the sidelines which is a massive blow to the Warriors. His departure sees Tanner Stowers-Smith called into the starting front-row. Other team changes include Samuel Healey (thumb) coming in for Makaia Tafua and Kurt Capewell (Origin duties) starting for Marata Niukora.
North Queensland Cowboys vs. Penrith Panthers @ Queensland Country Bank Stadium, 5.30pm
Cowboys team: 1. Scott Drinkwater 2. Braidon Burns 3. Zac Laybutt 4. Tomas Chester 5. Murray Taulagi 6. Jaxon Purdue 7. Jake Clifford 8. Thomas Mikaele 9. Reed Mahoney 10. Jason Taumalolo 11. Heilum Luki 12. Jeremiah Nanai 13. Reuben Cotter 14. Soni Luke 15. Griffin Neame 16. Matthew Lodge 17. Coen Hess 18. Liam Sutton 19. Sam McIntyre 20. John Bateman 21. Jaxson Paulo 22. Ethan King
Analysis: Todd Payten has opted to make only one change to his Cowboys line-up with Liam Sutton joining the six-man interchange bench for back-rower John Bateman. That is the only change that has been made as star forward Jason Taumalolo prepares to start in his 300th NRL outing.
Panthers team: 1. Dylan Edwards 2. Thomas Jenkins 3. Paul Alamoti 4. Izack Tago 5. Brian To’o 6. Blaize Talagi 7. Nathan Cleary 8. Moses Leota 9. Freddy Lussick 10. Lindsay Smith 11. Isaiah Papali’i 12. Liam Martin 13. Isaah Yeo 14. Jack Cogger 15. Scott Sorensen 16. Liam Henry 17. Luke Garner 18. Billy Phillips 19. Billy Scott 20. Luron Patea 21. Jack Cole 22. Sione Fonua
Analysis: The Panthers may be without Casey McLean (quad) and Mitch Kenny (leg) but the trio of Brian To’o, Isaah Yeo and Nathan Cleary all return from Origin duties. This will see Paul Alamoti move from the wing to the centres and trio Luke Garner, Liam Henry and Jack Cogger move to the interchange bench.
Manly Sea Eagles vs. Melbourne Storm @ 4 Pines Park, 7.35pm
Sea Eagles team: 1. Tom Trbojevic 2. Jason Saab 3. Tolutau Koula 4. Josh Feledy 5. Lehi Hopoate 6. Luke Brooks 7. Jamal Fogarty 8. Taniela Paseka 9. Jake Simpkin 10. Ethan Bullemor 11. Haumole Olakau’atu 12. Ben Trbojevic 13. Jake Trbojevic 14. Joey Walsh 15. Nathan Brown 16. Simione Laiafi 17. Aaron Schoupp 18. Blake Wilson 19. Jackson Shereb 20. Hugo Hart 21. Onitoni Large 22. Clayton Faulalo
Analysis: Manly have been dealt a triple blow for this week’s match with Brandon Wakeham (calf), Koby Hetherington (concussion) and Reuben Garrick (concussion) all out of action. Wakeham is expected to miss four to six weeks. In their place, Josh Feledy, Jake Simpkin and Ethan Bullemor have been added to the starting line-up. Outside back duo Aaron Schoupp and Blake Wilson are the new faces on the bench, while Clayton Faulalo (hamstring) has been listed among the reserves.
Storm team: 1. Sualauvi Faalogo 2. William Warbrick 3. Jack Howarth 4. Joe Chan 5. Moses Leo 6. Cameron Munster 7. Tyran Wishart 8. Stefano Utoikamanu 9. Harry Grant 10. Josh King 11. Cooper Clarke 12. Ativalu Lisati 13. Trent Loiero 14. Trent Toelau 15. Jack Hetherington 16. Josiah Pahulu 17. Alec MacDonald 18. Shawn Blore 19. Siulagi Tuimalatu-Brown 20. Davvy Moale 21. Stanley Huen 22. Angus Hinchey
Analysis: The Storm have been forced to change up their halves with Jahrome Hughes (low grade hamstring strain) unavailable for selection. Melbourne is yet to provide an update on when Hughes could return, although given the Storm have the bye next week there is a good chance Hughes could be back on deck for the Round 19 clash with the Titans. Hughes’ absence will see Tyran Wishart play the halfback role and forward Josiah Pahulu joining the six-man interchange bench. Skipper Harry Grant will start. This forced Trent Toelau to the bench.
SUNDAY JUNE 28
Canberra Raiders vs. St. George Illawarra Dragons @ GIO Stadium, 2pm
Raiders team: 1. Kaeo Weekes 2. Savelio Tamale 3. Simi Sasagi 4. Matthew Timoko 5. Xavier Savage 6. Ethan Strange 7. Ethan Sanders 8. Corey Horsburgh 9. Owen Pattie 10. Joseph Tapine 11. Hudson Young 12. Zac Hosking 13. Jayden Brailey 14. Tom Starling 15. Ata Mariota 16. Morgan Smithies 17. Sebastian Kris 18. Chevy Stewart 19. Jake Clydsdale 20. Coby Black 21. Jed Stuart 22. Vena Patuki-Case
Analysis: A big boost for the desperate Raiders with Simi Sasagi returning after missing five games with a shoulder injury. That pushes Seb Kris back to the bench. There is no sight of Josh Papalii (calf), however. In other news, Ricky Stuart has made a few changes to his bench with Daine Laurie and Jed Stuart dropping out with Chevy Stewart and Jake Clydsdale getting the call-up. It is not a major statement, but it is something as Stuart looks to maintain standards at the struggling Raiders and inject new energy into the team. However, Laurie’s axing comes after the NRL concluded its integrity unit investigation into him for an off-field incident and issued him a one-match ban for this week, per The Canberra Times. This comes after he was probed by the NRL over an alleged Mad Monday incident, which involved police.
Dragons team: 1. Clinton Gutherson 2. Setu Tu 3. Mathew Feagai 4. Valentine Holmes 5. Tyrell Sloan 6. Daniel Atkinson 7. Kyle Flanagan 8. Loko Jnr Pasifiki Tonga 9. Damien Cook 10. Toby Couchman 11. Dylan Egan 12. Hamish Stewart 13. Ryan Couchman 14. Jacob Liddle 15. Emre Guler 16. Josh Kerr 17. Luciano Leilua 18. Jacob Halangahu 19. Nicholas Tsougranis 20. Lyhkan King-Togia 21. Hame Sele 22. Christian Tuipulotu
Analysis: No major changes for the Dragons after they came close to upsetting the Knights last week, with no sign of Moses Suli after he suffered a hip injury in the warm-up. The club is yet to provide a potential timeline on when Suli could return. Blake Lawrie (leg) is also unavailable, which sees young guns Jacob Halangahu and Nick Tsougranis promoted to the extended bench giving the Dragons a possible look at the future.
Will Loz coach NSW after Game III? | 02:39
Newcastle Knights vs. Wests Tigers @ McDonald Jones Stadium, 4.05pm
Knights team: 1. Kalyn Ponga 2. Dominic Young 3. Dane Gagai 4. Bradman Best 5. Greg Marzhew 6. Fletcher Sharpe 7. Dylan Brown 8. Jacob Saifiti 9. Phoenix Crossland 10. Trey Mooney 11. Dylan Lucas 12. Jermaine McEwen 13. Mathew Croker 14. Sandon Smith 15. Tyson Frizell 16. Cody Hopwood 17. Thomas Cant 18. Lachlan Crouch 19. Fletcher Hunt 20. Francis Manuleleua 21. James Schiller 22. Harrison Graham
Analysis: The Knights had the luxury of resting all their Origin stars last week against the Dragons, with Kalyn Ponga and Dylan Lucas back on deck this week to take on the Tigers. Jermaine McEwen is also back from a club-imposed suspension and lines up in the second row. The return of Ponga sees Fletcher Sharpe move back to five-eighth, with Sandon Smith dropping back to the bench. Elsewhere, Lachlan Crouch could be in line to make his NRL debut after being named on the extended bench. Crouch is a product of the Knights junior pathways systems, having been a part of the Harold Matthews premiership-winning team in 2019, and signed a three-year contract with the club last year.
Tigers team: 1. Jahream Bula 2. Sunia Turuva 3. Taylan May 4. Starford To’a 5. Jeral Skelton 6. Jarome Luai 7. Adam Doueihi 8. Terrell May 9. Apisai Koroisau 10. Fonua Pole 11. Tony Sukkar 12. Sione Fainu 13. Alex Twal 14. Josese Lanyon 15. Bunty Afoa 16. Alex Seyfarth 17. Latu Fainu 18. Heamasi Makasini 19. Mavrik Geyer 20. Javon Andrews 21. Peter Taateo 22. Faaletino Tavana
Analysis: It is a huge game for the Tigers’ top-eight hopes against a fellow finals contender in Newcastle, and they are bolstered by the much-needed return of halfback Adam Doueihi. The Lebanese international has not played since he suffered a shoulder injury in Round 9 but is back on deck and it’s a timely return too with Jock Madden (concussion) unavailable. Madden’s absence sees Josese Lanyon retain his spot, although he may be bumped out when Madden is available. Elsewhere, Alex Twal (knee) is also back in another boost for the Tigers which sees Alex Seyfarth drop back to the bench after an impressive few weeks. Starford To’a, who is off to Manly next year, remains in the starting side with Patrick Herbert (shoulder) unavailable while Jeral Skelton gets a call-up on the wing. Elsewhere, Latu Fainu is back in the NRL after running out in NSW Cup last week, where he ran for 87 metres and set up a try.
Bye: Sharks
