Analysis: Look who’s back. Latrell Mitchell has been named in the No.19 jersey as an impact substitute in a timely return for the Rabbitohs. The superstar centre has missed 12 games during his battle with nerve issues following a back injury. The injury also hampered his calf and there were initial fears Mitchell wouldn’t return at all this season. However, Wayne Bennett will likely have his star man near full fitness come the finals, hopefully easing his way back into the action to close out the regular season. Jamie Humphreys (ankle) and Adam Elliott (groin) have both been named to return while Jai Arrow has been named in the No.23 jersey at lock in a touching tribute. The NRL gave the green light for the South Sydney club to be handed an extra player on their team list and an extra interchange, which will allow Arrow to lead the Rabbitohs onto the field across the next two games before being subbed off in the opening seconds. Currently sitting on 98 games for the club, Arrow will finish his career at the club with 100 appearances after a shock motor neurone disease diagnosis revealed earlier this year cut his time as an NRL player short.
